Karate stretches not just the body but mind as well, it's is a good discipline and improves fitness, flexibility, self confidence, self esteem and awareness.

You do not need to be a super athlete to start with as we help you train at your own ability and pace. It's a great way to get fit in a warm family friendly environment, make new friends and learn a life long skill. Karate is a way of life and you can use it in day to day events not just for self defense.

We have Qualified Instructors, inspected through the KUGB, first aid trained, DBS cleared, checked and Devon County Council Safeguarding Certified and fully insured through Towergate Insurance services.

We run instructor Quality programs and consistently updating ourselves for your safety and peace of mind.

We use pads, mitts, kick pads and soft impact shields for practicing, so minimal risks to students in training.

Martial Arts are a combat style so some contact is involved but is appropriate to age, experience, size and ability so is classed as semi contact.

We pride ourselves on a good discipline and student behavior, however poor attitude and lack of respect is not tolerated and students who continue to disrupt others will be asked to leave until they mature.

Affiliated to KUGB (Karate Union of Great Britain)
