Tiverton Borough Bowls Club |
Tiverton Borough Bowls Club is situated in a beautiful position above the town, with views across the valley. We are adjacent to the popular tourist attraction of the Tiverton canal, where there is good access for cars and coaches to the canal side car park or there is roadside parking in The Avenue. Founded in 1932, Tiverton Borough has a long and rich history of bowls within Devon. We pride ourselves on the relaxed atmosphere at the club and anyone will receive a warm welcome to join the club. Within Devon, we are centrally located, being a perfect location as a base for touring teams and we are happy to help facilitate any visit to the area.
The facilities of the clubhouse include a main hall, bar, large kitchen and ample changing rooms.
If you are new to bowls, you will be welcome to come and have-a-go at our regular Friday evening 'roll-ups' during the season and take advantage of a first year nominal membership fee. Experienced players are always welcome and (with a reduced membership) will be ensured of selection.
On a summers day there can be nothing nicer than playing bowls in a stunning location, or just enjoying a drink on the terrace whilst watching the game.
