The Tiverton Walk & Talk group meet weekly on Fridays at 10.20am (walk starts 10.30) for short walks in and around Tiverton Town, taking in as many Green areas as possible. The walks last between 30 – 45 minutes and are suitable for those with pushchairs or wheelchairs. Please see the "Walk List” download for details of each months start point.
On Wednesdays the group meet at 10.20am for weekly walks which are longer and last up to 2 hours. These moderate walks have differing start points (please see "Walk List” download on our website) and are based out in the countryside around Tiverton, passing places of interest and natural beauty such as Tiverton Canal and Loxbeare. Note these walks can be muddy or over uneven ground and often have uphill sections and stiles.
Walks are free of charge and are kindly organised by volunteer walk leaders. The group are looking for further volunteers to help out, so if you are interested then contact Penny Scoynes above.
More information is available from Penny Scoynes using the above contact information. Or if you visit the website (also above) then you can download walk programmes in Word format.
